KMHS Art Students – Clay Creations

In May, the advanced art students at KMHS learned to take a messy lump of clay and condition it properly to form a usable clay that could be sculptured. Using hand sculpturing, the potter’s wheel and patience, the kids worked hard to make their projects. Using the kiln, we fired the finished pieces: once for hardening, the second time for the glaze to color the pottery with. The results came out wonderfully.  Our students have used their imaginations and have created these characters along with some mugs and saucers.
