MS Championships
Playing in Deering for the MS Championships, the Buckland Middle School did well. They came out with the second place trophy. Although Buckland lost to Kotzebue, they beat the same team earlier in the season at Buckland. The highlight of the tournament was the game against Kobuk when Vernon Washington scored 30 points, with the team taking the victory.

In the Buckland Tournament, the Buckland MS team made it to the championships, but fell to Ambler's strong line-up.
