This is a rather advanced Applet but it can be incorporated in a study of Trigonometry. The purpose is another way to show how the trig functions and Radian measurement are generated. Shows the difference between the functions as they rotate through the unit circle.

Contributed by Randy Leedy

The purpose of the website is allow students to rotate a radius around a unit circle to see the trig functions change as the radian measure changes

The applet that can be used by the students to see how the trig functions work and are related to radian measure.

This site demonstrates Radian Measure to geometry and Algebra II students. The Applet allows students to readily manipulate and see the properties of radian measure. An example shows how the radius of a circle rotates through 2pi radians in a 360 rotation.

The purpose of this website is to easily be able to experiment with different curves. It was created by the School of Mathematics and Statistics and University of St. Andrews Scotland. An example is how to manipulate and experiment with hyperbolas by easily changing the parameters.

  • The Towers of Hanoi

Three pegs have round disks stacked on one of the pegs, move the disks from one peg to another stacking them in the same order. You may only move one disk at a time, no disk may ever rest on a smaller disk

Hanoi Tower - A Java applet that allows you to change the number of disks you are moving.

Tower of Hanoi - Another applet that also shows animated solutions to the puzzle.

Tower of Hanoi - Outlines a solution for a three disk configuration.
