| Art became the Director of Human Resources on July 1, 2008 after serving NWABSD in various villages since August, 2002 as a teacher and principal. He was born in Western Kansas and was reared on the Finkenbinder ranch and farm. Art had a variety of experiences before becoming an educator which included farming, ranching, cabinet making, construction, and operating crop dusting operations in Kansas and Texas. High School graduation took place in Syracuse, Kansas followed by his Bachelor of Science degree (Chemistry Major, Math Minor) from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma and his M.eD in Mid-Management at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. Art taught math mainly and coached football, basketball, tennis, and track during a 13 year stint in Texas. He and his wife, Reney, made the “big” move to the “Last Frontier” in 2000. |  |
