DISTRICT 1 - SEAT A

 Serving: Kivalina, Noatak and Baird Mountains.

 

Minimum Qualifications:  Must be a qualified voter of the Northwest Arctic Borough, a resident of the Northwest Arctic Borough for at least one year immediately preceding his/her appointment to the office, and a resident of Kivalina, Noatak or Baird Mountains.

An elected official shall forfeit his or her office if he/she is convicted of a felony or of an offense involving a violation of the oath of office, is convicted of a violation of AS 15.13 state election campaigns.
