Hey, my name is David James Smith and I'm a sophomore at Kotzebue High School. I am 16 years old, turning 17 in April. I was born April 18, 1991 in Anchorage, Alaska. After a few weeks I moved to Kotzebue, Alaska and lived there ever since. My first house is still my home and it is about 23 years old, 7 years older than I am. I grew up here with a lot of my friends and classmates who I know very well now. At the age of about 12 my brother and I got our very own 4-wheelers. They were small Raptor 80s and I loved them, they were so much fun. After a few years we sold our little Raptors and bought motorcycles. The motorcycles, which we still have, are a lot more fun than those 4-wheelers. I love riding with my best friend Michael Stalker, he also helps me a lot when it comes to fixing my motorcycle. If it wasn't for him it would probably still be sitting in my shop. I also enjoy riding with one of my very good friends Jesse Janitscheck, we grew up together because our dads used to be good friends and we would go and visit all the time. He had his little 4-wheeler the same time we did and when he got his motorcycle we had to get one too. My dad works at the Maniilaq and he works on computers so we own two computers. I grew up playing computer games and that's what I enjoy doing when there is nothing else to do which is a lot of the time, other than video games I chat on MSN and check out my Myspace. However, I would rather be with my friends.
