Zooma is our black lab. He's been in the family for seven years. He's our retriever whenever we go hunting. His favorite things include riding in the boat, running behind the snowmachine (riding on the snowmachine), getting his belly rubbed, getting his picture taken, comparisons to nobility, eating butter, licking me, waking me up in the morning by pouncing on me and licking my face, escaping, getting caught, running forever, getting scratched behind his ears, sitting in the big blue chair, getting dog hair on everything, lying on our big pillow, chewing on stuff, and making the acquantance of any lady dogs who stop by.

He dislikes being left behind when we go on camping/hunting trips, unsalted butter, hot bacon grease, cloudy days, people who try to ensnare him after he's escaped, getting shots, getting his nails trimmed, short belly rubs (long ones are preferable), people who don't give him lots of petting, compliments, and treats, and large amounts of cheese.

His favorite color is lilac, his favorite flavor is caribou, his favorite time of the day is afternoon, his favorite smell is fresh cut pine, and his favorite spot is next to the woodstove and he is a very, very good dog.
