It is hard to characterize my genre of music in one word. I like to listen to a lot of different music depending on the certain mood i'm in. I can listen to something like John Mayer and the next minute go and listen to Underoath and totally not notice the difference. The genre of the music doesn't really matter to me as long as the lyrics are meaningful and don't just go on and on about "my hoe this and my hoe that". I'm not really a big fan of rap music solely because lyrics are so demeaning. Ninety percent of the music they sing about is drugs, "hustling", and whores. To be honest I don't hate it because there are a few artists I like for example, dem franchize boyz. For me to be able to listen to it the song has to be semi humorous and have a decent beat but, that's so hard to come by so I usually don't listen to it a whole lot.
