Although Kotzebue does not have any national restaurants (i.e. Mc Donalds, Burger King, Subway, etc.) it does have some local restaurants that you can order food from. There are 6 local ordering restaurants, Empress, Bayside, Arctic Tern, Bison, E-Z Market, and Uutuku. Each restaurant has different types of food you can order. If your really lazy you can have someone else order for you and have them pay for your order at a different location and pay for it too! (that's what I do when my parents are at work and I don't want to cook anything). Although everyone buys food from A.C and cook their own food,. most people find it easier to just order food from the local restaurants and save the hassle and time of cooking yourself. If you look to the picture on the right, you will see a mobile restaurant picking up Kotzebue's most Presegious residents to take them around to Nome and back, SIKE, that's just Alaska Airlines picking up passengers to take them away from KOTZEBUE, but wouldn't that be cool if it was a mobile restaurant? I don't mean to brag or anything but my mom makes the best Spaghetti I've ever tried, especially when she puts those little cut up mushrooms in the Spaghetti sauce. All depending on how much you order at one time, the maximum that I have ordered is over $300 in one night, the restaurant actually make 4 trips to my house to deliver all of the food! Notice I only order from two places, they're the two best places to order from.
