Student Rights & Responsibilities

Students at KMHS are granted certain rights as residents of this state and country, and with these rights come certain responsibilities.

Student Rights

Students have the right to freedom from discrimination or harassment of the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, creed, political beliefs, national origin, age or handicap.

Students have the right to accurate maintenance of academic records.

Students have the right to freedom of inquiry and discussion essential to a student's education development.

Students have the right to be free from illegal searches and seizures.

Student Responsibilities

Students have the obligation to know and follow the policies of KMHS and the NWABSD

Students have the obligation to be in school on time each day.

Student are obligated to respect other students' rights to an education without disruption.

Students are to respect teachers, administrators and other staff, both on campus and at school activities.

Students have the responsibility for the care of school property and equipment.
