Introduction: The Purpose of this webquest is to both prepare the reader for a dynamic journey of the mind and to help educate the learner concerning the natural wonders and exciting history of the great state of Alaska.
Teacher's note: The intended audience for this WebQuest is middle school to high school aged students.The purpose of the Quest is to integrate technology and creative learning processes for the student who is researching the history and natural wonders of the state of Alaska. The Quest can also teach concepts associated with ecology, native cultures, subsistence living, the game and fish of Alaska, geography and history of the state. A design templet is provided if the student wishes to create a WebQuest of his own. Otherwise, the projects can consist of report writing, journal entries or pictoral representation of the learning experience.
