ATC is a small school, it is a highly effective training center.
ATC continues to provide four nine-month courses, employer-designed
short courses and adult basic education/GED.

Programs available at the Alaska Technical Center include, Building
Industrial Technology,
Health Occupations, Industrial Mine Maintenance, and Office Occupations.
Short courses are offered based on customer or employer demand.
These include first aid/CPR, computer applications and programs,
driver’s education, coast guard license preparation, Hazwoper,
and many others as requested.
ATC Dormitory
The Alaska Technical Center’s 10,000 square foot, 40-bed dormitory
is located only 75 yards from the main facility. The rate for a
double occupancy room is $300 per month per student and students
are admitted on a first-come, first serve basis. Within
the dormitory is a recreation room with pool tables, cable TV, VCR
and DVD player, ping-pong, and foosball table. This dormitory is
completely furnished with comfortable double occupancy rooms and
laundry facilities. Dorm attendants, who are trained in first aid
and CPR, supervise the dormitory twenty-four (24) hours a day. The
dorm attendants are there to ensure that residents are comfortable
and safe.
ATC Cafeteria
Nutritious snacks and meals are served daily at the Alaska Technical
Center Cafeteria. During the weekdays, three meals are served, during
weekends, a late brunch and early dinner is served. The meal plan
cost per student is $500 per month for dorm residents. It is optional
for students who are not living in the dormitory to purchase full
