The grade level expectations developed by the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development guide the science curriculum in NWABSD, according to the direction of our School Board. The NWABSD science curriculum is currently under review to ensure alignment with state standards. The District science fair in February gives students around the region a chance to pursue science projects unique to their interests, and gain practice in implementing the scientific method.
