Special Education services are regulated by state and federal laws that focus on the needs of exceptional students. Efforts are aimed at early intervention to assist students and make instruction and all other development skills accessible to them. Our district is supported by staff and contracted school psychologists, speech pathologists, physical and occupational therapists; they provide evaluative information and training to staff. We encourage our special education personnel to be advocates for their students, and we require continual communication with students’ parents to better meet the unique needs of our students. |
