Judith Richards, Director of IS & IT
Judith Richards has been in educational technology for fourteen years. She has been Director of Instructional Technology and Information Services for the Northwest Arctic Borough School District for the past two years. Prior to moving to Alaska, Judith spent seven years as a Coordinator for Technology and Curriculum, seven years as an Instructional Technology Consultant and ten years as an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics and Electronics at the community college level in Chicago, as well as teaching Mathematics, Economics and Government at the secondary school level.
Judith received a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Xavier College, Chicago, Illinois in Social Science and Education in 1978 and a Master’s Degree from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois, in Mathematics Education in 1994. She also has the Certified Novell Administrator networking certification and A+ computer certification. Judith has three grown sons and three granddaughters.
