Fresh off their “outstanding” performance rating at the regional music festival in Nome, the Kotzebue High School handbell choir is headed to Anchorage this Thursday for state competition. Performing at the University of Alaska Anchorage in the 2006 State Solo and Ensemble Music Festival, the Kotzebue bell choir will be judged against the best young musicians in Alaska this weekend.
