Name: Noel and Joyce Frisbie
From: Born and raised in Nebraska(Home of the famous Cornhusker Football Team)
Family: Three boys (Clint, Chad, and Wade), and my soul mate of 38 years. NOEL Middle/High School Teacher: Math, Small Engine, SYSOP, Technology, Reading, Science, Private Pilot Ground School thru Chukchi/UAF (over the internet). I enjoy: Kiana Alaska, hunting, fishing, trappingl(with “Doc” Miller), boating, snow going, and flying.
History: I was raised a farm boy in south central Nebraska, in a small town like Kiana. After one year teaching biology in Neligh, NE. I joined the U.S. Airforce. They let me fly some really cool jets and let us travel all over the world. It seemed like a good deal so we stayed for twenty. For the next fifteen years we raised our boys on a farm in York, NE. While there, I was able to do a lot of the different things that I always wanted to do, such as farming, driving an 18 wheeler all over the lower 48, and teaching. The boys moved on, so it was time for Joyce and I to have another adventure. We looked at opportunities from the Virgin Islands to Alaska. Teaching in Kiana was where we finally settled for the last seven years and we are looking forward to many more. We enjoy teaching, our new friends in Kiana and the outdoor activities. JOYCE Middle/High School Special Education Teacher, Math, English, Read 180, Science, Senior Class Sponsor
