Welcome to school year 2022-23!  My name is Darleia Caldwell, and I will be teaching second grade this year.

I am so happy to be here in Kotzebue again this year. I have previously taught for fourteen years for North Slope Borough School District, in Barrow, and Atqasuk, and for several years in Matsu Borough School District. My qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, a minor in Early Childhood, and Reading Specialist Endorsements.

Alaska is my home, and my family loves hiking, camping, taking pictures, and fishing in the beautiful outdoors each summer.  I am excited to teach and help your student grow and learn this year.
