I have a Masters Degree in Special Education.  I have taught for June Nelson Elementary am beginning my 6th year at June Nelson Elementary School.  Prior to that I taught for one year at KMHS.  I currently work with students primarily in the 3 to 4 year old age range as well as Kindergarten and 1st grade students.  I have experience working with a wide range of students, from those with high needs to those that require some extra learning supports. 

My family and I moved to Kotzebue in 2002 from Washington State.  My husband and I have been married for 40 years.  I have three children, two of whom live here with their partners and one who lives in Okanogen, Washington.  I have three biological grandchildren who live in my home with their parents.  We are a multi-generational family.
