Welcome!

My name is Ashley Hansen, and this will be my sixth year teaching First Grade at June Nelson Elementary.  I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to Kotzebue in 2011 with my husband Hans. We have two sons, Eli and Luke. They are our absolute pride and joy! We love spending time outdoors as a family. We enjoy going on boat rides, snowmachining, and taking in all of the wonderful experiences this region has to offer.

I look forward to a great school year, with a lot of learning and fun!
