Hello, this is my 8th year at Selawik and I am finding it a wonderful experience. The village has been so welcoming and the students are wonderful.  I am from the south-west corner of Colorado.  I have lived in five states-New York, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Colorado and now in Alaska. I have taught for over 40 years, mostly in pre-school. I went back to school and received my teaching degree from Millersville University in PA in 1995.  I then worked for 11 years on the Navajo Nation in Kindergarten and 1st grade.   I am again working with the age of students I enjoy the most 4 year olds.
