Hi, my name is Dolly Custer. I was born and raised in Shungnak, Alaska and graduated from Mt. Edgecombe High School in Sitka, Alaska. I have been working for NWABSD in Shungnak for 20 years. Over that time I've held several different positions, but I am currently the school's Bilingual Education teacher. I teach our Iñupiaq language to all students pre-K-12th and reinforce our traditional way of life during my instruction. Also, I assisted in the development of the Iñupiaq Language curriculum currently in use by the school district! I'm looking forward to another successful school year.
