• Below are links to lessons your teacher will have about the COVID-19 virus.

Here you'll find some helpful tips to keep yourself healthy during this unprecedented time!

    1. Keep a "contact" log.
      • Include all of the people that you came into contact with that day.
        • Contact counts as closer than 6ft apart for more than 15 minutes.
      • Include the places in town that you went.
        • A/C
        • Post office
      • This is helpful for our public health team to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
    2. Wash your hands with soap, scrubbing for 20 seconds.
      • Before and after you eat.
      • After you go to the bathroom.
      • When you come inside from playing out or going to the store.
      • Any other time you think of it!
    3. Avoid touching your face.
      • Some viruses enter our bodies through our eyes, nose, mouth, or ears.
    4. Practice social distancing.
      • Social distancing is staying 6 feet or more away from anyone that doesn't live in our house.
      • It is recommended to only play with people that live in our house and to not have sleepovers or visit other homes right now.
      • Practicing social distancing can help slow the spread of illnesses.
    5. Stay home if you feel sick.
      • If you start to feel sick, stay home so that you don't spread it to others.
    6. Clean items you touch often.
      • Your phone
      • Pens, pencils
      • Doorhandles
      • Faucets
      • Light switches
    7. Wear a mask when you are out in public!
      • This will help you keep others safe.
      • Masks stop your germs from traveling far when you talk, sneeze, cough, spit
