I am new to Noorvik this Spring of 2023.  This will be my 5th year teaching in Alaska, and my 3rd year in the Arctic.  I love the outdoors and Noorvik is such an amazing place.  I discovered my passion for STEM subjects in the early 1980s.  My degrees are in physics and mathematics.  I studied cosmic rays and neutrino physics for about 10 years, which took me to Japan for 2 years.   I then worked in aerospace for 15 years. I obtained a teaching credential in California in 2011.  It's a joy to teach in the Arctic among Inupiat people.
