Mrs. RoxiAnn B Wolfe

Hi, my name is Roxi Wolfe.  I am the current 4th grade teacher at Napaaqtugmiut School in Noatak, Alaska.  This is my fifth year here in Noatak and my 9th year teaching in elementary education.

I grew up in Eastern Oregon in a small town of Adrian, Oregon on a small dairy farm.  I attended Ricks College, University of Idaho, and Oregon State University where I received my Bachelor Degrees in Anthropology, Spanish, and Elementary Education.  I also have earned my Masters in Anthropology.

I enjoy anything outdoors; rock climbing, mountain climbing, running, hiking, camping (snow and summer), and biking.  I also love to write, read, and cook.  I live here with my husband, Jonathan.  My son is currently living in Mexico and my daughter is attending BYUI.

I am really excited for this year!  We are planning some great outdoor cultural activities this year as well as increasing our learning in math, reading, writing, science and social studies!

I have noticed more elementary students using phones.  Here is a link to 5 Ways to Save Yourself from Device Addiction.  Great suggestions and ways for kids and adults to be aware of electronic use.
