Ms. Bates is a 5th grade teacher at JNES from Kotzebue, Alaska.

She is qualified to teach K-12 Art,  K-12 Special Education, High School Language Arts, and Elementary Education.

She has resided in the Arctic for numerous years and is fortunate to be a part of the Northwest Arctic Borough School District in a supportive, culturally rich community!
