I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, graduating from Waterville High School in Waterville, Washington. I served 6 years in the US Navy Submarine Service. I spent several years driving for FedEx before finishing my degree from Central Washington University and moving to Alaska. This is my 12th year teaching in Alaska, and my fifth year at KHMS. I am currently teaching Special Education in the high school.
