Hello,

I will be the pre-K and Kindergarten teacher in Ambler, Alaska.  I have taught in Kotzebue for one year, a long time ago.  It was so exciting to get up here and start working in my classroom. Yesterday a local gave a teacher here a couple of sheefish. Wow, I was so excited that we were shown how to cut the fish to dry.

 I have lived in many parts of Alaska.  On the road system and off.  I particularly like Ambler because of the people, the fast-moving river, and all the great beautiful trees. 

I graduated from University of Alaska, Anchorage in 1999.  I have been taking classes when I can to continue my learning and to keep my certification.  My husband and daughter are still in Soldotna, AK.  They are so excited for me to be teaching in a classroom again.
