Hello!  My name is Emily Marcus and after a five year break, I am so excited to be beginning my 7th year as a kindergarten teacher here at June Nelson Elementary School.  I am originally from Tennessee but have loved making my home here in Kotzebue with my family for the past 12 years.  I love all of the outdoor activities that this region has to offer, and love incorporating music and fun into learning in my classroom.  I know it will be an excellent year at JNES!
