Patricia Houser

Patricia grew up in Anchorage, graduating from East High School in the top 10% of her class.  She left Alaska for the Lower 48 after graduation, going to Harding University.  She graduated there with a degree in Vocational Home Economics and a teaching addendum for high school and adults.

Ms Houser returned to Alaska but, after a few years, began moving around to several states gaining experience and learning about our great country - Washington, New York, Minnesota, Georgia and Missouri before finally returning home to Alaska in 2009.  Since then, she's built a new home in Palmer where she lives with her puppies (Little Bear and Dobe Girl) when not in school here in the village.

Patricia's plans currently are to remain in the village a few years before retiring.  She says she loves being here and working with the children and families to help grow responsible and effective adults.
