My name is Jaimie Gleissner, and this is my first year in NWABSD. Before joining Kotzebue's high school special education team, I lived and taught in Stebbins for 8 years, where I taught ELA and coached basketball for 6 years and spent 2 years as an instructional coach. 

I am moving here with my husband, Eric Leusch, and our two children. Our son, Townes, is 4 years old, and our daughter, Hardy Grace, is two. When we are not teaching, we enjoy being out doors and being at our commercial fish camp. 

I'm looking forward to kicking off a fantastic school year!
