Hello KMHS students and parents!
My name is Ms. Moeller and this is my 42nd year teaching. I was a professor at the Univ. of Florida (Go Gators!) and also at UAA. After that, I taught in the Mat-Su Valley, Barrow, Point Hope, and now have been in Kotzebue for 8 wonderful years! I love math, science, and reading. I am looking forward to working with all of you to ensure the success of 100% of students this year. Math is just a game, so I will teach your students some of the 'rules' and we will have a lot of fun learning this year. We'll learn about fractions, decimals, algebra, and geometry. Science is simply exploring some new ideas, so that will be fun, too! Please feel free to e-mail me or call at the above number - and please come into the classroom to see what your students are learning!
Even though school may look different this year with Covid-19, we WILL be learning. We will go slow and learn together to figure everything out with technology. Let's all be patient with one another and support each other. More than ever before, parents and teachers will be partnering with each other as WE teach our kids.
