Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation (KIC), headquarted in Kotzebue, Alaska, was created in 1973 as a Village corporation pursuant to the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. There are currently 1,953 KIC shareholders.
