JNES Science Buddies

Science is constantly advancing and so are our JNES Huskies!

At JNES Science Buddies, our students engage and learn the application skills to the scientific method through Inupiaq cultural and environmental means.

Science Buddies will meet weekly on Fridays at 3:40pm for an hour for 1st and 2nd grade students. Space is limited so please sign up, quickly.

We invite our local community members to come and read one of our short science stories or tell a story how knowing math and science advanced you in something- at the job, hunting, boating, building a shelter etc.

You will receive a "Science Buddy Community Participation" award and many little, happy smiles!
