NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. (NANA) is an Alaska Native corporation formed in 1972 as a part of the Alaska Native Lands Claim Settlement Act.
As owner or partner of a diverse set of companies, NANA is one of Alaska's largest and most significant corporations. NANA owns the Red Dog Mine, which has the richest concentration of zinc ore known in the world. Its diverse operations stretch from the Arctic Circle to Antarctica, from the continental United States to the Pacific.
NANA has more than 2,000 employees, many of them Iñupiat shareholders of the corporation.
